How Do You Consume Stuff???

Well Happy New Year Everybody!!!!!

It is now officially New Years resolution season and what do you have planned?  Maybe saving a dollar a day for residential solar panels, getting in shape, shaving off a few additional pounds that you accumulated over the holidays?  What about changing your consumer patters? That was the New Years resolution that I created after I visited the web site The Story of Stuff.  This is a very interactive site that explains the how the massive consumer economy in North America is pillaging our earth of resources, destroying many third world countries and release deadly toxins into the atmosphere.  So next time you head to the mall ask yourself, do I really need to buy this or do I own something already that will do the job? 

I would suggest that everyone watch the 20 minute video at www.storyofstuff.com and sentd it to everyone you know.  This is a very simple step that we can all take the help the environment and save money at the same time.
