Well it certainly has been an interesting 2 weeks for the oil industry. First they spent a great deal of time and tax payers dollars defending their actions and profits at the US senate, now they are threatening the EU that they will stop investing in Europe in if they are forced to pay emission permits. It appears as though the oil industry is willing to continue to spend the time and money protecting oil production rather than focusing on other investment that could be just a profitable.
One of those investments could be in the form of the largest Solar Power Plants in the world which has been approved for construction in the Mojave desert. This project is being developed by Pacific Gas and Energy who recently signed the largest solar contract in history ( 3 billion dollars) to develop this solar project that is projected to provide California with 900 megawatts of electricity, enough to power almost 400,000 homes
With this said, it is very apparent that renewable energy can be very profitable. So why don’t the oil companies get involved in these investments? Maybe it’s time for them to build a little Green into their business strategy.
Keep it green!!

Your site is definitely a breath of fresh air in comparison to the typical junk I learn on solar technology. There’s a lot of scams out there. Thank you for helping me out.
