Jack Johnson’s Green Power Tour

Okay so there really isn’t anything left to be said for this guy, but I’m gonna do it again in hopes that other musicians will catch on and I will have more to talk about. Some celebrities have demands when they are in certain situations, they can sometimes be referred to as “Diva’s” for this due to how ridiculous some requests are. So how about a “Green Diva”?

Mabey not a good joke or description, but Jack Johnson’s commitment to the environment regardless of where he is in the world is inspiring. “Greening” a music tour is a hard task but Jack seems to make it work. In the past we have talked about Jack’s efforts,

and it seems that those efforts have yet to slow down. The 33-year old musician requests fluorescent light bulbs and water efficient showers backstage, separate bins for waste and recycling (with biodegradable bags), an eco-crew to check tire air pressure for attendees and that all leftover food be donated to local food banks.
