For the past three years we have enjoyed working with Canadian Thermos Products and we wish them well in their new initiative to bring attention and awareness to the global water crisis.
Effective April 1, 2010 we will be changing Ecologic Living to Green Genie.
While Green Genie will continue to serve as an educational and social forum we will be shifting our focus to providing more tangible ideas for green living, innovation and sustainability.
We are under-way with a complete site re-invention that we hope to have completed by the end of May.
Green Genie will provide visitors with a broad range of content interests designed to engage visitors, offer up compelling opinions, discussions and actionable content. Green Genie visitors will be encouraged join our community and participate in a dialogue between our writers and visitors.
Green Genie site visitors will also have the opportunity to become product testers, participate in a tester group forum and share their thoughts and impressions about the products they tested.
We’ll also be offering up some new and exciting content areas that include Eco Travel, alternative music and Green Stocks that you can add to your investment portfolio.
We’re really excited about the launch and evolution of Green Genie and we hope that you will be too. Thank you to all of our loyal Ecologic Living followers for your support and we look forward to your participation and support for Green Genie.
Eco-Logic Living has served as an educational social forum over the past few years to promote and support all things green. However, most recently it has become apparent that we at Canadian Thermos Products need to align ourselves with specific environmental issues that reflect both our product offering and corporate culture.
In 2009, Thermos launched an exciting new social media site called Hydration for All www.hydrationforall.com. Our goal is to heighten awareness of the global water crisis, and to accomplish this we’ve partnered with charity: water, a non-profit organization dedicated to bringing clean and safe drinking water to people in developing nations. The statistics on the shortage of clean and safe drinking water are staggering – 1.1 billion people lack adequate hydration due to this shortage. We encourage you to visit the site www.hydrationforall.com and help support our cause.
As of January 29th, we hope you will continue to follow Thermos on our Thermos® Facebook page www.facebook.com/ThermosBrand. Here you can continue to connect with the Thermos brand, learn about new products, promotions, and hear what others have to say.
Thank you to all of our loyal Eco-Logic Living followers for your contribution and support of our mandate for a greener, healthier and hydrated society.
